Great Projects for Teens

I taught a class at my local library yesterday. I am teaching five classes over the summer, 3 down two to go. The project yesterday was creating a masterpiece based on a famous artist. Last year we did Van Gogh and starry night, this year we did Piet Mondrain. An abstract artist who visualized his subject he had in his brain down to geometric shapes and primary color. I gave them artistic liscense to use more color choices but they were limited to 4.
